Are you recovering from an injury caused by an accident, a slip and fall, an unfortunate traumatic event?

Unfortunately, sometimes we are a part of an incident or accident that may impact our lives tremendously. We are not able to perform our daily activities or activities we loved to do not too long ago. Our bodies can recover quickly given the proper guidance.

First, we will gather as much information from you and your doctors about your current injury, how it occurred, and evaluate other potential contributing factors. We will then evaluate and assess how the injury is limiting you on a daily basis and then treat accordingly. Our goal is to perform therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy and modalities to help decrease your pain and discomfort as well as provide you with pain management and edema control strategies. We will also use these techniques to decrease swelling and edema. Additionally, we will educate you on various adaptations you can make in your environment to maximize your level of comfort. Once your swelling has gone down, we will guide you through appropriate stretches, exercises, and activities that will regain your range of motion, strength, and function. We will also guide you through other exercises/activities you can do while you are recovering from your injury to ensure you are doing all that you can to stay active. Once you are back to where you are hoping to be, we will provide you with various strategies to prevent the current injury from recurring while preventing future injuries. Please read the below section for more information on injury prevention.

Are you recovering from a repetitive stress injury or an injury of unknown origin?

Our bodies go through a lot of stress on a daily basis. Whether we are sitting at a desk, sitting on the couch, laying in bed, standing, or walking, we must be aware of how we are using our bodies. Maintaining proper body mechanics throughout our day to day activities is the key to preventing injury. If we exhibit muscular imbalances, demonstrate with postural asymmetries, and/or move through space using asymmetrical movement patterns, this can lead to repetitive stress on areas of the body that we may not be aware of at the time however, over time these repetitive stressors can lead to injury and dysfunction.

Our goal is to perform individual bio-mechanical postural assessments while your stationary in various positions and then evaluate your gait and functional movement patterns while you move your body through space. This gives us a lot of information on how your body is working for you on a daily basis. Given this information, we can then determine your muscular imbalances, your neuromuscular functions, and the efficiency of the signals your brain is sending to your joints and muscles throughout your body. With this information, we can guide you through various changes you can make for your body to function optimally in order to prevent injury in the future. We will also show you what is safe for your body, what is best for your body, and the appropriate way to perform these activities and exercises, while guiding you towards safe and efficient participation in the activities you love!

Sciatica Treatment

After six months of suffering sciatica, going to a chiropractor and acupuncture with no relief, I found this company and Dr. Kimberly Seman whom after 4 or 5 visits rendered me pain free. She is so knowledgeable about the body and I knew instantly after our first session I was on my way to recovery. I must also add how very sweet and kind she was as she performed her skills on me. I will be forever grateful to her.
