Dr. Kimberly S. Seman
PT, DPT, CSCS, CHC
Physical Therapist
Dr. Kimberly S. Seman PT, DPT, CSCS, CHC Owner of F.I.T. PT, is a Board Certified Physical Therapist in both Florida and New York. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from New York University in 2012 and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Florida in 2009.
Dr. Seman received extensive training at many prestigious New York hospitals including RUSK Institute and OIOC at New York University Hospital, Hospital for Special Surgery, Mt. Sinai Hospital, Bellevue Hospital, North Shore Long Island Jewish Hospital, as well as various Pediatric Rehabilitation facilities, schools, and outpatient clinics in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. Dr. Seman also received training at SHANDS Hospital, VA Hospital, and various schools throughout Gainesville, Florida. While living in New York City, Dr. Seman gained many years of experience and expertise working for various facilities such as PHLEX Health and Wellness Center, The New York City Department of Education, and outpatient pediatric facilities. Throughout her time practicing in New York City, Dr. Seman also provided Early Intervention services to children in their homes.
Since moving to Florida and establishing F.I.T. PT, Dr. Seman continues her practice in Palm Beach and Broward Counties, providing highly individualized Physical Therapy to patients in their home environment. Dr. Seman uses an Evidence-Based and Integrative approach in her Physical Therapy practice. She provides one-on-one treatment sessions and tailors the plan of care to the distinct needs of each patient. Dr. Seman provides In-Home Physical Therapy in order to help her patients optimize functional independence and maximize therapeutic benefits in their own daily environment.
Dr. Seman grew up as a competitive, nationally-ranked swimmer and understands what it takes to keep the body and mind working at their greatest potential. She currently resides in Delray Beach with her husband, son, daughter, and dog.
Venetia C. Reilly, PT, RPT, GTS, NDT
Physical Therapist
Venetia C. Reilly, PT has been a practicing Physical Therapist for 40+ years, graduating from Northeastern University in Boston in 1981. She is currently a board certified Physical Therapist in New Hampshire and Florida. Her work experience includes six years in a large rehabilitation hospital in San Jose, California as both a staff and supervisory therapist on the Spinal Cord Injury, TBI, General Rehab, and Pediatrics (including the NICU) floors. Venetia moved with her family back to New Hampshire, working at both Nashua Memorial and CMC Hospitals. This work included supervisory positions and treating pediatric, neurological, and orthopedic rehab caseloads. Venetia and her business partner Lu Miller founded DTS in 1989, providing high quality In-home Physical Therapy services in response to Physician and community needs. In November 2018, Venetia moved with her husband to Florida for the Winter season and has since joined the F.I.T. PT team!

Venetia is certified in Graston, a valuable instrument assisted treatment technique as well as NDT (Neuro Developmental Technique). Ongoing continuing education continues to be a priority in order to stay current on Evidenced Based Practice. This is accomplished through attendance at the APTA’s Combined Sections conference each year as well as attending more local clinical practice courses.
In her spare time, Venetia enjoys playing with her two grandchildren, riding and caring for her horse, running, and cycling to stay fit!
Dr. Gwendolyn Boyd, PT, DPT,CLT, AIB-VR
Physical Therapist
Gwendolyn Boyd, PT, DPT, CLT, AIB-VR is a board-certified Physical Therapist in Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Florida International University in 1987 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida in 2015.
Dr. Boyd has practiced in a variety of rehabilitation specialty facilities, outpatient clinics, and most recently, in the home care setting. She has served as a rehab director in both the inpatient rehab settings as well as in the outpatient facilities in which she was also the CEO. In her management roles, she has always enjoyed mentoring new therapists and students.
Dr. Boyd has a diverse clinical background with specialties in both neurological and orthopedic impairments. Dr. Boyd has always endeavored to stay abreast to the latest in treatment advances with a primary focus on Evidenced Based clinical practice guidelines. She is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Lymphedema Therapy, and Neuro-Developmental Treatment of the neurological impaired adult patient including Parkinson’s, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Cerebrovascular Accidents/Transient Ischemic Attack also known as strokes. She also brings clinical expertise in orthopedic conditions, pain management, and osteoporosis programs. In the pain management spectrum, she brings hand on manual skills and training in the application of Micro-current Point Stimulation for the management of acute and chronic pain.
In her free time, Dr. Boyd, enjoys traveling, gourmet food tasting, playing racquet and pickleball, and jogging.
Ilene Lund Claps, PT, RPT
Physical Therapist
Ilene has been a physical therapist in South Florida for over 35 years & graduated from Ithaca College in NY with a BS degree in Physical Therapy. Ilene is a licensed Physical Therapist in the states of New York & Florida & is originally from Connecticut.

Ilene has a vast experience in Home Health Therapy including the treatment of Geriatrics, orthopedics, arthritis, neurology specifically Parkinsons Disease & stroke rehab & if you have a pool or access to a pool, she is very experienced in Aquatic Therapy. Ilene also specializes in Manual Point Electric Stimulation (MPES) for treatments in the reduction of pain & soft tissue adhesions.

Quality of Care is Ilene's mantra & that is why she left the out patient & hospital practice setting many years ago in order to work ONE on ONE in the privacy & comfort of patient's homes to help her patient's achieve their maximum therapeutic potential .

Ilene presently lives in Boca Raton with her husband & has a son who lives in Arizona. Ilene is an avid swimmer, loves boating, dancing, swimming with dolphins & is an animal lover with 2 cats of her own. Ilene loves spending time with her long time friends & family in South Florida.
Bozena (Bo) Ciesla, PT, RPT Physical Therapist
Bo has been a physical therapist for the past 30+ years. She graduated from the Academy of Physical Education in Poland, where she got her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. She moved to the United Stated from Poland in 1991 to start her career as a Physical Therapist. She is a Board-Certified Physical Therapist in Florida and Texas. Bo started as a therapist at an Acute Rehab hospital in Fort Worth-Dallas area then moved to out-patient settings in Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio Texas. Bo then started working at a home-care agency in Marble Falls, Texas.
In 1996 she moved to Florida and started working Skilled Nursing Facility Rehab in Fort Lauderdale where she enjoyed working with different patients including those with orthopedic and neurological impairments who had a variety of diagnoses such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and stroke patients. In 2000, she moved to Boca Raton and started working at a Skilled Nursing Facility Rehab in Delray Beach. In 2006, she began working in the home-care settings in Boca Raton where, to this day, she enjoys working with patients at home to help them achieve independence and their highest level of function.
Her current life in Boca Raton is peaceful as she lives with her husband and enjoys yoga, biking, and cooking great Polish cuisine. Bo also has two children who now live in California, one in college, and the other as settled.
Ellen Bloome, PT, TPI, ART, FMSC, CAFS, NASM, CMT, FAI, FxNA

Ellen Bloome, PT is a highly motivated and energetic problem solver with deep expertise in the human form. Functional and optimal movement is her passion, and she has spent 40+ years helping to improve the health and well-being of her clients and patients through her home health expertise. Specific areas of focus have included sports and athletics movement for all age groups, ergonomic analysis and transformation of clients' and patients' living spaces, working with adaptive athletes and senior citizens, and clients with Mild and Moderate Cognitive Impairment. She has treated clients in multiple populations
Ellen is a New York University School of Physical Therapy graduate. She has since obtained certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in Performance and Corrective Exercise Training, Senior Fitness Specialist, Adaptive and Mobility Coach through CrossFit, (working with senior Veterans with disabilities and developing programs for their fitness, pre-operative needs, and functional mobility, Active Release Techniques, Functional Movement Certified, Certification in Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute, Functional Aging Specialist through FAI, and is FMT/PMT Rocktape certified.
She is currently a Titleist Performance Institute candidate for their Medical Certification track to screen and correct limitations of movement that she will apply to her senior golfer population.

Dr. Christopher Quaas,

Dr. Christopher Quaas, PT, DPT earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida in 2018. Originally from New Jersey, he moved to Florida to pursue his passion of becoming a Physical Therapist. Chris is a Physical Therapist with Management experience specifically in an outpatient Physical Therapy setting. This includes leading and managing staff such as other Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and administrative staff. He has experience in treating orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and neurological conditions including, but not limited to; post operative, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Parkinson's Disease, Post Stroke. He is passionate about leading his patients on a road to recovery and effectively administering therapy for patients to achieve their desired goals.
In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, playing sports like golf and beach volleyball, and learning about the stock market!
Jagruti Hirani,
PT, RPT
Physical Therapist
Jagruti Hirani, PT, MPT graduated from Physical Therapy school in India in 2010 and thereafter, earned her Physical Therapy License in California in 2013. Jagruti is now licensed in Florida, California, Michigan, and India. Her strong passion for science and movement led her to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.
Growing up in India, I observed my fiercely independent grandmother struggle to move around the house after sustaining a hip fracture post fall. Dependent on family for basic needs, she felt deeply disheartened. Witnessing her Physical Therapist help her regain mobility and independence within a few weeks filled our home with joy. That transformative experience solidified my determination to become a Physical Therapist. Throughout my 11+ years in this profession, the daily expressions of gratitude and affection from my patients continue to fuel my dedication. Each day, I strive to improve and bring the same happiness to my patients that I witnessed in my grandmother.
I have provided physical therapy services in skilled rehab facilities servicing patients with a wide variety of conditions including but not limited to neurological injuries, Parkinson's Disease, Orthopedic injuries. post operative recovery, and chronic pain. I moved to Palm Beach County, Florida in 2021 and have been providing Home Based Physical Therapy helping my patients achieve their functional goals.

I live in Palm Beach County with my husband and my son. In my spare time I enjoy singing, dancing and reading inspirational stories.
Miranda Muniz,
PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Miranda Muniz, PT, DPT earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York and has been practicing since 2018.
Miranda has many years of experience in multiple settings working with a variety of patients and conditions including Orthopedic, Pre and Post surgical procedures, Neurological conditions, Balance conditions, and Vertigo. She is a passionate therapist that believes in hands-on rehab, as well as educating patients on the anatomy of healthy bodies and injury prevention and management. She educates her patients on proper body mechanics to enhance activities of daily living that will continue to keep individuals safe and independent.
In her free time, she makes it a priority to learn about different techniques that can help with her Physical Therapy practice. She loves to spend time with her family and enjoys engaging in physical activity such as running and doing CrossFit.
Dr. Laura Hutira, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dr. Laura Hutira PT, DPT, is a Board Certified Physical Therapist in the state of Florida. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University, outside of Philadelphia, in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Heath Sciences from Bowling Green State University, located in Ohio, in 2013. Since graduating in 2016, Laura has experience working as a Pediatric Physical Therapist in an outpatient office, schools, long-term care facilities as well as in the community treating a wide range of diagnoses from birth to 21. Laura also has experience working primarily with adults with neurologic diagnoses, including movement disorders.
With Laura’s diverse clinical background, she has found her true passion is treating neurologic conditions throughout the life span. Laura works hard to always further her education and create the most functional and creative activities to guide her patients and families towards reaching their highest potential.
Laura and her husband live in Delray Beach with their adorable and active son as well as their pets. When Laura finds spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, practicing yoga, and traveling.
Julissa Abreu, PT, RPT Physical Therapist
Julissa M. Abreu, Physical Therapist, graduated with her MSPT in 1995 from Barry University and has been a practicing Physical Therapist since, specializing in Pediatric Physical Therapy and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction. Julissa began her carrier in 1989 as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Pinecrest Rehab Hospital where she developed her therapeutic handling skills working with patients with Spinal Cord Injuries, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Neurological disorders, and Various Orthopedic Conditions. Here, she also gained experience with Wound Care and Amputee Rehabilitation. After graduating with her Physical Therapy degree in 1995, Julissa continued to work at Pinecrest Rehabilitation as a Physical Therapist until 1997.
From 1996 -2011 Julissa was given the opportunity to work in the Palm Beach County hospitals in the Level 3 NICU, developing her skills with developmental therapy care for the medically complex preemies and infants at risk of developmental delay. During this time, she attended many developmental care forums around the country learning about the neonates' medical conditions impacting developmental delays. She continued to follow her heart and in 1998, Julissa began treating infants and toddlers in the Early Steps Palm Beach County Program. Julissa continues to remain abreast with evidenced based best practice guidelines regarding developmental therapy care of infants and children with various diagnoses such as Torticollis, multi complex system disorders, neurological, and orthopedic conditions.
During her time as a Pediatric Physical Therapist, Julissa found there was a need to help the postpartum mothers experiencing pelvic floor pain and dysfunction and bowel/bladder dysfunction, as well as infants and children experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction due to chronic constipation. Since 2001, she has continued to expand her knowledge and skillset in order to help Women, infants, and children with pelvic floor dysfunction.

In 2005, Julissa received training in CIMI, Certified Infant Massage Instructor, and in 2007, she received her certification as a NOMAS (Neonatal Oral Motor Scale) trained therapist. As a seasoned Physical Therapist, she enjoys giving back to the next generation of graduate Physical Therapists, by providing support through instruction and sharing her clinical experiences. She has had the opportunity to be an adjunct professor at local community colleges and universities speaking on the medically complex infant at risk of developmental delays. Her mission to treatment has always been family-centered care, family-first, and empowering patients/ caregivers with the confidence to independently carry over a safe and effective home therapy program.
Outside of work, Julissa enjoys crocheting, cooking, gardening, beach, hiking, quad roller skating, bikram yoga, and caring for her family and her rescue pups. She gets great pleasure volunteering for dog rescue groups and volunteering as a medic for the local roller derby tournaments. Julissa reads/writes/speaks English and Spanish fluently, and can communicate in the Portuguese and Italian languages.
Dr. Batsheva Ben-Jacob, PT, DPT

Batsheva Ben-Jacob PT, DPT is a dedicated physical therapist with a passion for pediatric care. Her journey began at Touro College in New York, where she graduated as valedictorian with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2019, following a Bachelor of Science in 2016.
Batsheva honed her skills in pediatric physical therapy, specializing in early intervention, school-based therapy, and private practice. She has pursued advanced training in functional electrical stimulation for children with cerebral palsy, ensuring that she stays at the forefront of innovative care. Additionally, her experience extends to effectively treating babies with torticollis, developmental delays, and hypotonia as well as children with diverse diagnoses. Her commitment to excellence, coupled with a deep understanding of pediatric care, sets her apart in this field.
Having spent the past couple of years treating children in Monsey, New York, Batsheva has recently relocated to Florida with her husband and two daughters. Being a mom has deepened her insight and rapport when working with children. It allows Batsheva to connect on a personal level and provide not only professional expertise but also the warmth and care that every child deserves.
Jennifer Spiegel MS, OTR/L is a National Board Certified Occupational Therapist licensed to provide services in both New York and Florida. She began her professional journey in 2006 after graduating from Dominican College of Blauvelt in New York with a Master of Science.
Jennifer has worked in a variety of settings including home health, subacute rehabilitation, public schools, private clinics, and in medical research treating patients of all ages with diverse diagnoses. She is certified as an IASTM practitioner, utilizing Instrumented Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and Movement to improve function and performance for her patients. A combination of vast experiences and continuous learning drive effective evidenced based treatment for her patients with neurological, cardiopulmonary, musculoskeletal and orthopedic disorders. Alexis Katrina Miole, OTRP, MAOT, OTR/L is a National Board Certified Occupational Therapist licensed in Florida who graduated from Velez College, Cebu City, Philippines in 2015. She ranked 5th overall in the Philippine Occupational Therapy Board Exam in August 2015. She earned her Masters in Arts of Occupational Therapy from Cebu Doctor’s University, Philippines in 2017.
For seven years, Alexis headed the OT Neurosurgical team and served as the OT supervisor for quality management and operations at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, a tertiary-level medical facility. Alexis is a certified standard and intermediate wheelchair assessor. She is currently practicing in home health setting.

Aside from practicing in a clinical setting, Alexis is also passionate about teaching. She worked as a part-time faculty member of Velez College as the coordinator of Kinesiology. She worked as a lecturer at one of the Philippines’ leading review centers for Physical & Occupational Therapy and enjoyed facilitating weekly case conferences at the hospital she used to work at.
Alexis is a photography enthusiast who enjoys telling stories through street, portrait, and gig photography. She enjoys museums, café hopping, and delving into arts & culture when not in scrubs.
Beatriz Castano

Occupational Therapist
Beatriz Marie C. Castaño, MAOT, OTRP, OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist hailing from the Philippines. She brings over 8+ years of expertise to her practice, marked by a profound dedication to promoting independence and enabling occupations. She earned both Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy in 2015 and 2017 respectively from Cebu Doctors' University. Her outstanding performance in the 2015 Philippine National Licensure Exam, securing the third rank, underscored her commitment to excellence and propelled her towards becoming a National Board Certified Occupational Therapist in 2018, and is additionally licensed to practice in Florida.
Her professional journey has been multifaceted, beginning in an academic setting. As an educator in the Philippines, she has imparted knowledge to undergraduate and post-graduate students, teaching a range of subjects from Theoretical Foundations of OT, Mental Health, Research and Physical Rehabilitation. Her role as an OT Clinical Coordinator during the COVID-19 pandemic exemplified her adaptability and leadership which ensured the continuity of care amidst unprecedented challenges. With a focus on evidence-based practice and a deep understanding of neurological, cardiopulmonary, musculoskeletal, and orthopedic disorders, she tailors intervention plans that empower patients to maximize their functional independence and pursue their occupation of choice. She's personally drawn to working with the adult and elderly population where she finds fulfillment in their wisdom and life experiences.
Outside of her professional pursuits, she embraces solace in nature and cherishes moments spent with loved ones. She indulges in activities like freediving, yoga, volunteering, and beach trips, or enjoying leisurely indoor pastimes such as board games and watching TV series which are all essential for prioritizing self-care and occupational balance to sustain her passion for her profession.
Albina Findling,

Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist
Albina Findling, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a bilingual, Florida and New Jersey licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing from Kean University, and a Master's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University. She has been practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 10 years, specializing in working with the pediatric population. Albina is an active member of the American Speech–Language–Hearing Association.
Albina fell in love with Early Intervention while working at Children’s Specialized Hospital in 2010. Throughout her career, she continued to concentrate on working with children ages birth-to-three years old. She has vast experience working side-by-side with many professionals implementing a team approach with Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists. Albina believes in a multidisciplinary approach when it comes to therapy and uses a holistic approach in her interventions.
Heather graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology in 2010. She previously earned her Masters of Science at the University of Colorado- Boulder, in 2007. She is a current member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Heather has experience working with both pediatric and adult populations. She has worked in elementary and middle school settings, and has provided home-based therapy with both children and adults. She worked several years at Holy Cross Hospital, in Fort Lauderdale, evaluating and treating patients in acute care, inpatient and outpatient settings. Heather also worked two years at a long-term acute care setting, where she became proficient in working with patients with tracheostomy and carrying out Modified Barium Swallow studies.
Heather currently lives in Delray Beach, with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, riding her bike, reading, and going to the beach.

Erica Emery, M.S.,CCC-SLP is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master's degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University. With a heartfelt passion for helping children, she specializes in providing therapeutic support to individuals ranging from infancy through high school.

Her expertise encompasses a wide array of disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), intellectual disabilities, speech and language delays, and feeding difficulties. Through evidence-based practices and personalized therapy plans, Erica focuses on enhancing communication skills and addressing feeding challenges in children.
